Brandon Kelly's Blog

More Great Times, Losing More Weight

I haven't posted to my blog in over a week, and am starting to feel a little guilty about it!  Things have really picked up here, with work and our personal lives.  Last weekend my friend Sean Thompson came up to visit us.  We took him on quite a tour of Boston, including:

  • The Granary Burial Ground
  • Faneuil Hall / Quincy Market
  • Beacon Street and Beacon Hill
  • Salem and the Salem Witch Museum
  • Downtown Waltham

I believe he had a good time (and he said he did).  It was 3 days of touring, drinking and having fun.  One of the places we went for dinner was ***'s Last Resort, a nice bar/resturant where they insult you as part of the experience.  They could have been meaner -- but I was still impressed.  We took several really nice pictures, and once again used Saba at PhotoWalks as our tour guide.  She's excellent, and really knows her stuff.

Also, I have continued to diet and have lost another 1.5 pounds since last week.  That puts me at 240 right now, a full 10 pounds from my starting weight in 3 weeks!  I'm still very encouraged by these resuls, and continue to work out daily.  Thanks to all of you who continue to encourage me through this.

About President

I am the owner and President of estatic.org, Inc. -- a small software consultantcy based out of Saint Petersburg, Florida. I enjoy technology, the History Channel, golf, and trying a new beer for the first time. My wife and I recently spent the summer of 2006 living in Boston, MA. Technology really excites me -- I eat, sleep and dream about business and how technology plays a critical role in many business transactions most of the time. I've written this blog as an attempt to appeal to others who think in a similar way.
